Ordered a couple 16" Middy Kits from Del-ton with the YHM Diamond FF Mid-sized hand guards and quad rail FSB on 11/27/09 (with their Black Friday 10% off special).  They arrived on 12/4/09.  I expected to wait months for these.  That company rocks.

The kits are beautiful and a steal for $500.  I'll be posting pics soon.

Glad you got your kits in a timely fashion. Looks like everybody is starting to get caught up.

I wish Del-Ton would state on their site, what kits are actually in stock, and what is going to backorder. Their kits are top-notch, but their shipping times are so spotty, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into when you place an order.

I have been looking at the Del-Ton site for a couple of weeks. What I want is one of their midlength 16" barrels without the upper. Anyone know if they will do this? I see barrels only but they and all Carbine length or 20" and 24".

I never order from anywhere unless they can confirm the item is in stock beforehand or they can give me a solid shipping date.

I called this morning and they said they had standard heavy barrels in 16". I placed an order online after I got off the phone so we'll see when it ships.

I ordered a 16" flattop upper assembly on 12/4 and I got a email this morning that it was shipped. Pretty fast considering they build the upper when you order it.
