Hey Everyone,

New to the forum & to the AR world.  If I have a kit from Del-Ton built, but they dont offer the forearm I want. How difficult will that be to install myself?  Thanks

Depends on your mechanical aptitude.

Are you talking about a free float forearm?
If you are talking about putting a standard forearm on, using the supplied delta ring assembly, its very easy. Putting a free-float forearm on requires a little more knowledge and skill.

Let us know what exact kit your looking at and what type of forearm you desire, we will be able to give you a better answer.

You r correct! I am a remoldeling contractor and have been around guns all of my life. I'm looking at a YHM-5000 smooth forearm and was wondering if it would install fairly easy.

Given the correct tools and a little research, it is pretty straight forward.

Very fun way to get to know your weapon a little better.
