[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Delta Ring

Hello,
Do I need to have a delta ring installed on my barrel nut before I torque down my barrel to my upper? I have not purchased a delta ring just yet and was curious to know. I don't want to have to put the barrel on and tighten it down and have to do it over again.

Yes as the delta ring parts won't slip over a standard barrel nut they will need to go over the barrel first.
