I noticed that all my spent shell casings have a horizontal dent about an 1/8 of an inch long in the middle of the body of the shell casing.  Anybody know what this is from?  Can I reload these?

from the brass hitting the shell deflecter when it ejects, it wont hurt the brass at all.

It's caused by the shell deflector. I reload cases dented in this manner.

My M4gery did this. It came from the cases hitting the rear of the ejection port instead of the brass deflector. I lived with it.

You should see what an HK91 does to brass.
