| I didn't look at the two you were asking about but while I am sure there is a difference in quality it is a carry handle not a fine optic. I just picked one up off of the EE for 30 bucks. Check around on the EE and they pop up their constantly in whatever name brand you want. |
Or an .04 inch higher sight blade, available from Bushie, DPMS, and Colt.  A $30 unit is almost certainly a Chinese built POS, and not worth 30 cents. On the other hand, some of the American made aftermarket pieces, while ok for quality, have differences from the milspec Colt that make them less than wonderful. For instance, DPMS units (and I have been told Rock River) have one minute of angle elevation adjustments. Mil Spec is 1/2 minute. The only units I have personal experience with are Colt and Bushmaster. Both are fine for quality; but the Bushie unit had the .04 inch lower sight assy.. This lets you use a standard height front sight element, but if you happen to have an F marked front base, just acrew down the post a few clicks.
