| Can anyone tell me the difference between the Rock River Arms CAR A4 and the Mid-Length A4? Trying to figure out which one is the best one of these two to buy, base model. |

Mid Length Gas system. Handguards are 2 inches longer with the Mid-Length and the gas system is longer by a few inches than the carbine. Which equates to softer recoil, longer sight radius (good thing) all in all Mid-Length in my opinion is better than Carbine.
Go Mid Length. |
| I plan on sending in my special order (since that's the only way you can get them right now) through class 3 weapons. I just hate that their awesome sale ended on the 17th! $200 bucks off the mid-length A4. Anyone else know where I can get a base mid-length A4 for less than RRA's list price of $1000? Or is that about the best deal you're going to find? |

So overall, RRA is the way to go out of all other AR brands? pretty much in this climate if you are shopping and can get a mid-length I would go with pretty much any manufacturer. Out of many vendors RRA is good, not the best but is a good quality firearm, if any other mid-length mfg. like DD, Spikes, BCM come up have no problem purchasing them also. |

My RRA middie is extremely accurately with the stock wilson barrel (will shoot 223 or 556)w scope and bipod condition accuracy is amazing but their uppers are a bit heavy with the
bull barrels.Worth the weight though if you are a reloader or accuracy nut !!! Later John |
