| OP, you can get a barrel dimpling jig for cheap and use whichever barrel you want. Jig slips over barrel, is located/secured with a poly tipped screw in gas port. The you just get a drill and dimple in the holes on the bottom. Pretty fool proof. Just don't over do it and try to drill 1/2" dimples and you'll be fine. |
| Ballistics Advantage will pin a gas block or FSB on a barrel you buy from them and it's very reasonable. They have a different barrel on sale every week as well. If you get them to pin on a gas block or FSB, have them install the barrel nut. If you do not, you will have to remove the gas block to install the barrel nut. |
| Nefarious Arms is the go to place for quality dimpling. Apart from Knights Armament, he is the only one allowed to dimple in a particular pattern. I believe he owns the patent of something like that. He did the front of one of my barrels a few years back. Ran around $75... |
