Not necessarily for a weapon mounted light, but in general why do so many manufacurers insist on putting modes that you have to scroll through.  Is there a relatively easy way to just have "bright" mode? Dont need strobe and would rather have full power everytime the light is turned on.




Eta: I realize these arent surefires and what not, but pretty decent lights for what they cost.  As always, thanks for the help.

I like the interface on the Quark Pro series. Tighten the head for high mode first up (can access strobe also). Loosen the head for moonlight first up that you can then cycle to higher settings if you wish. That's my EDC light but I still grab the Surefire EB1 if I'm for sure going out after dark as I feel the Surefire tailcap makes for a better light for use with a pistol.

ETA: I also think strobe is stupid.
