Hello, I'm trying to put together an ammunition display and am looking for inert rounds. Does anyone have a good source for either purchasing or tips on building them. I don't currently have access to my press but if I did is there a good way to build them without the proper dies, if I can get my hands on the spent casings? thanks, |

A spent case will still usually hold a projectile in place. A little Locktite would hold said projo in the case for display purposes. Place an ad in the EE for a few pieces of brass in each caliber you want to replicate. Most reloaders would send you a few cases that are beyond thier useful life for postage.
Do the same for bullets. 1 or 2 in each caliber. Many reloaders (including me) have some "extras" now and again. |

Even better, in the ad say that its for your son's science project at school, like someone did a while back. That guy had brass, bullets, ammo comming in from all over the country! |
