Thinking about getting a 12" Daniel Defense RIS II for an 18" rifle-gas barrel I have.  I know the RIS II was intended for carbine barrels, and I haven't been able to find any pics of one mounted on a rifle-gas upper.  Has anyone here used one with a rifle barrel?  Any issues with it fitting or clearing the gas tube or gas block?  The barrel has a heavy profile, will that make any difference?

TIA

ETA: Well, guess I didn't look hard enough.  Found a pic; looks like it will work just fine with the right gas block.  Thanks for the responses guys!

You will probably have the same issues as you would using the MK18 rail with a mid-length gas system. A lot of it will depend on the gas block that you get. The top will clear fine, as it is the same dimension all the way, but at 12 inches, the bottom of the gas block may come in contact with the front of the rail.
