Seems like Dr. Optic has been dropped from the factory. Anyone know the reason why? Also how is Trijicon fullfilling orders on their Acog TA31DOC which includes Dr. Optic. Believe I must be missing something here.

As an alternative what are people using - JPoints or the new Pride optic?

I was originally going to combine a Nightforce 2.5-10x24 with a LT mount and the Dr. Optics LT attachment which allows the piggy backing of the Dr. Optic.

Comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe that is the big reason for the shortage as the ACOG is taking up all their inventory.

That is a REAL shame and I hope this is NOT permanent! It seems all I see is the LE/Mil model at 700+ bones!

Seems like the Dr Optic web site is also shut down. All of this implies that they are out of business. That's the reason I originally posted - it is hard to believe.

I am sure someone knows the scoop.

I've been trying to figure out what's going on with the DocterOptic also. Nobady seems to have any models other than the $700 LE models in stock either.

PMC-Eldorado have neded their arrangement with Docter Germany. Docter germany is alive and well but their US distribution is all up in the air.

So what’s the deal......are the Germans (or their American distributors) asleep at the wheel or what?

I've been trying to locate a new one for months (non LE Model)!

Victor, Trijicon just shipped several hundred TA31DOC's to distributors so I would expect to see them all over the place very soon.

Correct. They are not out of business. Just currently no US importer. I know that there are 2 companies right now working on becoming their new distributers. This information came direct from Germany.
