So I've had a Noveske lower sitting in my safe for a few years.... I finally decided to build and upper for it. I had originally purchased it to build an SBR but I lucked out and found another Noveske lower that was already registered as an SBR... so in the safe it sat....
Well since I have a SBR, I decided to build something to shout out at distance. Now I will probably never be able to shoot as good as it will be capable of, but it will be top quality parts as they become available. I have a bunch of parts on my Wish List at Rainier Arms.... I got an email notification one day and was able to pick up an 18" Rainier Arms Select™ 5.56MM MEDCON Barrel in black oxide. It was delivered today.... In the mean time I went back to Rainier and ordered a BCM low profile gas block, mid length gas tube and a PRI MSTN QC Brake. From one of the board vendors ( mauiwowie) I picked up a Raptor charging handle.... and just now I ordered a VLTOR MUR-1s from the same vendor... On Monday I emailed an order form direct to Fail Zero for a BCG, but that looks to be at least 8 weeks out. I'm also holding out for a Noveske NSR in 15"... Rainier seems to think they'll be available soon, but I can’t get them to add it to the website so I can request a notification....
