I'm trying to find a .625 Round Hand Guard Cap for my XM build and am having a hell of a time! The EE turned up ZIP in the last 3 weeks. CMMG told me they had them but sent a triangular one instead. I can't believe the Hand Guard Cap is the hardest part to find for this project!!!

Somebody help me out!!!

I sent them an order. I hope Bushmaster pays better attention to detail than CMMG...

A litttle deja vu here, sort of. A few weeks back I ordered a couple of .625 triangular handguard caps from CMMG and they sent me round ones.

FWIW, I called CMMG and they sent me the right ones along with a prepaid FedEx envelope to return the round ones.

What is it about these CMMG folks? They act like they have their heads in their 4th Point of Contact!

J&T should have them as well. I have a light bbl. w/ .625 round handguard cap from them.

I think cmmgs success went to their heads. they can be difficult to deal with..kinda like telling you what you want rather then listning to what your asking for..just my opinion Tim[>:/]

I know Brownells has Colt .625 round HG caps, got one in my parts bin.

Bushy positively has them, now whether they are still selling parts remains to be seen! I am only saying that because of the immediate demand for everthing gun related. Can't predict how people will act when the pressure is on.

I got one (and some other small parts) from Specialized Armament Warehouse back in the summer. They are a little pricy, but they seem to sell Colt/G.I. parts almost exclusively.
I also got some parked, non-coated sling swivels with that order.
Tina treated my little ol' $45 order just like it was a $900 Colt upper half order!
