I am looking for a variable with fine crosshairs, not a duplex for around $200.

Thanks

Your best chance might be for SWFA to reply to this thread, or you might contact them directly yourself.  They would have a good idea (probably) if something out there fits your criteria.  I, personally, do not know for sure if there is.  At least, I have never come across anything like that.

If you're looking for extremely fine crosshairs, look for scopes specifically marked as target scopes.  Leupold sells a fine crosshair reticle on their target scopes, but it has a dot at the center.

What power?

If a low power scope would suit you, the Weaver V3 1-3x22 has fine crosshairs.

Weaver V series or Leupold Rifleman/VXI will do the trick.

I have several Weavers and they are quite good for their price range.

That's what I was gonna say, except the fine crosshair dot version.

HERE

I just got one for my CZ452.

Keep in mind that these really are FINE crosshairs.

I use Nikon more than any other, so that would be my measure.  How do you think it would fair?  NO stores here have Weaver.

Weavers have good glass, easily on par with Nikon. Benchrest shooters in my area have been using these for a long time now and I've heard no complaints.
