...now what? I would like this lower to be as reliable as possible so I am soliciting opinions about which LPK to get. Brownell's has High Standard, Bushmaster, DPMS, and a couple of others. My current rifle is a Colt. So parts that approach that quality would be preferable. Maybe I should just buy Colt parts? I shoot 500-600 rounds a month so durability is king.

Edit: I am not needing a match trigger. Single stage trigger, GI level kinda parts

J&T is DoubleStar's sister company, they have a really good LPK. I also have used Palmetto State Armory, Stag Arms and Rock River Arms LPK's and all have worked well for me.

I just put a Magpul MOE LPK together this week as my first build and everything seems to fit and function just fine.

I used the spikestactical standard lpk, install went great everything fit perfect. Also the trigger seems much smoother then my bushmaster trigger IMO

some people say DPMS is hit or miss.  I like RR and hear good things about Spikes

I use J&T parts kits in my DS lowers and quality has always been top notch and so has customer service.

I have used DPMS LPK's in both of my Double Star lowers, and I've had really good luck with them. The price is right too.

I have actually used the DS LPK on my DS lower. Perfect fit.
