Looking at getting another double rifle case. I have a Blackhawk that I've had for years but I've been looking at the 5.11 double case and was wondering what your guys thing and or have. Thanks.

My common used one is Safari land. A little smaller, nice exterior straps and shoulder harness fo backpacking. Stirdy construction. The gun retention is not super secure. One size fits all.
I also have a Blackhawk thay is much more configurable for retention and more "low profile" (as much as one of these van really be) but overall construction is not as sturdy. Plus overall larger...Will fit taller guns. |
| I use a Condor 42" double rifle case. I got the larger case to handle the ARs and other rifles, but my 16" middy fits well. Durable, and packs a lot of gear. Good sale prices from time to time. The padded divider covers 100% of the space between rifles, which was a big plus for me to protect sights, scopes and rails. |
