[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Drop in LED for E2e

I'm looking for a drop in LED for my old Surefire E2e. The primary purpose is to increase run time and reliability so I would prefer longer run and less lumens.

What are my options?

There was one guy that made a few back in the day on candlepowerforums.com. They were never "manufactured" as I understand. The only LED solution I know of to your e2e is a KL2 or KL1 led head for your E2E body. KL1 if you plan on using a 17670. Kl2 if you want to use 2 primary cr123 cells.

Why not contact forum-supporting SureFire dealers and discuss getting a SureFire KX2 LED bezel?
