| What's a good drop in Trigger for my Bushmaster AR-15? Timney is the only one I've heard of? What do you guys think? I want a 3 lb pull |

Not the newest thread, but good info.

You need to decide if you like Single-stage or Two-stage trigger.
That said, I just got a JP trigger and LOVE IT. It's a single stage trigger. ETA: Review Now I have heard drop in triggers like Timney do not do well over time and that the AR was not meant for such a trigger. Haven't heard real definitive proof on it but some substantiated claims from people who run their guns hard and in fast shooting situations. |

Quoted: I've got Timney and Chip McCormick. Both have been totally reliable, super simple to install, and are far better than stock trigger pull. Been thinking about a Wilson TTU or Giessele SSA-E for the next switch. I really prefer the single stage triggers. I have the Timney and McCormick triggers as well. I prefer the McCormick by a small margin, but both have been reliable over the years and thousands of rounds I have used them. |
