GunLab posted images of the  Dror Light Machine Bolt, unfortunately the two lower lugs are not shown,in this second model Dror the lower lugs are longer so the bolt can strip from a under placed vertical BAR based magazine,as to the first model Dror that uses the normal side horizontal magazine.

The bolt as some design similarities with the bolt used in the Eugene Stoner M8 X01/X02/X03 AR-10A,the Johnson was used as a design basis as it used the some of the platform basic characteristics needed for the concept, the bolt uses the same 8 locking lugs and it is designed for a straight line platform.

The bolt in the Dror as the same space for the hammer to strike the firing pin.

As in the Dror (Johnson LMG) the carrier and buffer,in the M8 X01/X02/X03 AR-10A,is a one pice, the AR-10B used first the carrier and buffer as a two pice assembly.

Note the two lower lugs,on the second model dror, they are longer so it makes possible to strip from a double column, the first model Dror was the basic Johnson design as it can only strip from a single column magazine.

Interesting stuff. I have a couple of 1941 Johnsons and when I first cleaned one, was surprised at the similarities in the barrel design between it and the AR types .

There was a 1941 Johnson LMG across the aisle from us at SAR last weekend.

The second model Dror, this one has no bolt (possibly demilitarized).

"Dror Advantages:
1. Light and comfortable to carry.
2. In semi-automatic fire it is more accurate than all the other firearms.

Dror Disadvantages:
1. Disassembling the weapon is difficult and almost impossible to perform when prone.
2. The charging handle is part of the bolt, therefore: a. The handle is small and uncomfortable, injures the hand. b. Releasing the lock while cocking often injures the hand.
3. The magazine well faces downwards.
4. Inserting the magazine is difficult.
5. Bad feed (causes many malfunctions).
6. Overly forceful ejection tears the rim.
7. Torn rims fall into the magazine and causes stoppages in the functioning of the machine gun that cannot be overcome by soldiers in the field.
8. Barrel replacement is difficult.
9. The place where the barrel is held is not at the balance point.
10. Very sensitive to a lack of oil (does not function).
11. Very sensitive to dust (does not function).
12. Very sensitive to mud (does not function).
13. Very sensitive to water (does not function).
14. Very sensitive to sea water and sea shore sand (does not function). (In [items 12-14] there had been incidents where the moving parts stopped and could not be
moved, which made disassembly difficult)
15. Primer ignition is not certain (often stops).
16. Due to inaccuracy in manufacturing, magazines that fit one gun do not always fit the other one.
17. Selection is not accurate.
18. Great dispersion during automatic fire.
19. Releasing the trigger does not always cause gun to stop firing."

Apparently, the use of a vertical magazine was a problem..."3. The magazine well faces downwards"..."4. Inserting the magazine is difficult"...but the changes done to the second model Dror made it possible to strip from a conventional double column magazine,it was the positioning of the loading port that was of a poor choice,if engineered correctly it could have been the most practical of all the Johnson designs but unfortunately this variation was not engineered correctly, what made possible to strip from a double column magazine may have also have caused some problems..."5. Bad feed (causes many malfunctions)."...Melvin Johnson prefered the automatic rifle nomenclature...
