[ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTech Covers

Hi folks,

New to EOTechs and thinking about purchasing one.

I noticed in browsing through the forums that people have EOTechs with tan or dark earth colored covers on them. Is this an option from the factory, or have these people done their own Duracoat jobs on them ?

I think he means the painted shrouds. Not sure but I think they take the protective shroud off and duracoat it.

Yeah, I too think most people are painting them themselves.

I haven't seen colored shrouds available.

To clarify, I was talking about the (metal ?) shrouds that protect the EOTech, not the 'covers' as linked above.

The roll bar, I would say folks are painting them. I haven't seen any colored ones being sold.
