I'm picking up my Rock River in two weeks. I have a EOTech 512 on hold so when I pick up my RR I can pick up my EOTech. I've never owned an EOTech. Will the EOTech mount on a flat picatinny upper straight out of the box? Or will I need to purchase mounting accessories? If it helps to know I'm getting the Entry Elite Rock River Thanks |

An EoTech will mount right on the rail as it has its own mount. Some folks use a GG&G or Larue mount. The GG&G doesn't add any height. Its advantage is that the throw lever is easier to use than the allen screw on the stock mount. The Larue sets the mount a little higher for a better co-witness with the front sight. |
