I have an EOTech 511 mounted on a rail that is screwed on to my M4 handguards. I was trying to zero it at 100yd and even with the elevation cranked all the way down I had to aim at the bottom of a B-27 human sillouette just to hit the the very top of the target. I cannot co-witness with my iron sights the way I have it mounted. Does this mean that I just have the sight mouted to high to get a proper zero? Could it possibly be defective? Does anybody have suggestions for a better mount? |

Mount the EOTech DIRECTLY onto your flattop and then give it a try... C4 www.gandrtactical.com |

Don't use the ARMS #39, it won't work! The CRTC BC-CAM will work for you... C4 www.gandrtactical.com |
Eotech is very good about repairing thier products. They repaired mine in under 2 weeks including shipping time. Call them and get a service number, then you can send it in for repairs. but it sounds to me like your Eotech is mounted at an angle facing down inrelation to the gun, and you need a mount that parallel to the barrel for the sight to function properly. |
| Timanator I think your right! My dumbass just noticed that the handguards taper toward the end of the barrel and the rail I had was not formed to compensate for this. I ordered a BC-CAM and hope to see it soon. Thanks you all for your advice and thanks for the pics Mr. Lee. |
