i recently posted thread about my glasses and how they were effecting my POA/POI. and someone replied saying that the parallax between my glasses and my optic were throwing off my POA/POI. so i was wondering if anyone who weres glasses has had any trouble with the parallax from their glasses and their EOTech holographic sight. like how off the weapon sight was before you first zeroed it? and if you were able to easily zero your optic when taking it to the range? i am asking these questions because i haven't had that much luck when it comes to optics, because of my glasses and the parallax that they make.
if you could answer these questions i would greatly appreciate it! -Michael |

I have prescription glasses as well, but I have not experienced the problem you describe. As a side note, it is important to train with your Rx glasses as well as without, just so you can get an idea what your working with. what do you meen by "... just so you can get an idea of what your working with"? do you use an EOTech? if you don't what optic do you use? |

The only issue I have is when using glasses, the reticule gets slightly blurry indoors. Outdoors it is fine, and with contacts no problems anywhere as well as the reticule being even sharper than with glasses. ok thanks for answering my question. i'm not going to be shooting indoors at all so i won't have to worry about that blurring problem! i guess an EOTech for little me is going to on santa's list this year, lol! |
