I went to Bravo companies web sight to look at thr EOTech sights. After reading the info now I know why I see so many on the ARs on the site.My question is which model is the best and will it mount on a flat top upper without an adpter. Also can you still use the iron sights through it.

They all mount to the flattop without any adaptors. Yes, you can still use iron sights with them. You'll have 100% co-witness. The AA models are bigger and have longer battery life. The N models are smaller but have less battery life. It depends on which one you prefer. If you won't be shooting in the dark, you may wanna save some money on the non nightvision models.

I run the 512 and 552. love both, would NOT do the 552 again because I will not be purchasing any night vision equipment in the  near future.

There are a few variations with Eo Techs.....some night vision, some use AA batteries, while the others use N batteries, and one model uses lithium batteries.  If you ever plan on spending the money for night vision equipment, buy an night vision compatible EO Tech.  You also might consider what type of batteries any other accessories you have use, and buy a EO Tech that uses the same batteries.
I have EO Tech 512 mounted on a Dominator mount, which us mounted straight to my flattop......this allows a nice co-witness with my iron sights.....and yes they will mount directly to your flat top without an adaptor
Hope this helps some

I just got an 511 and I love the thing, a true 2-eyes open sight.
