| When zeroing an EOTech do you guys have the 1MOA dot centered and right at the tip on the front sight post or do you "lollipop" it? Also if the iron sights are already zeroed, could you just adjust the dot till its where you want it without shooting it in? |

I sighted in an EOTECH recently, but on a different style gun. I bought a $35 laser boire sighter and sighted it by my house at 50 yards. I then went to the range,a nd at least started on the paper. Then, I made fine adjustments as needed. If U have iron sights in the FOV, start w/ it as mentioned above. Then, U should at least be in the ballpark at therange. Then make any necessary adjustments as U shoot. Get one of those targets with the 1" grid on it. Visit: ps90forum.com Visit: www.handgunforum.net |
| just sighted mine in this week. My irons are setup to cowitness and are zeroed at 50yds, so to start I adjusted the eotech so the dot was just sitting on the top of the front sight. My first group at 50yds was about 2 inches too high so I adjusted. second group was about a half inch to the left, elevation was fine. Third group was dead on. Took 10 minutes and after that I could have fun. |
