OK, myEOTech was delivered yesterday and I'm trying to get the batteries installed. How in the hell do you get this battery compartment off I have the lever lifted and I'm pushing/pulling and lifting on what I think is the battery compartment but can't get anything to budge. I don't want to start prying on anything and break something.

Batt compartment is a bastage, esp on new ones. I thought I was gonna brake my hundreds of dollars device.

I used a cartridge the other day. The ridge where the extractor catches works great.
