My eotech 552 just won't power up. the only thing that might be the cause is one of the connectors in the battery cap falls out every time i take out the batteries what do you guys think new battery hood? new connecters on the sight

My 552 took a dump on me too. None of my connectors fall out though. I tried all the troubleshooting tip[s L3 suggests, but to no avail. I'm just sending it in for repair.

Hate to say it but are the batteries in correctly?

Maybe the springs in the front of the housing took a set or are bound up inside the rubber.
Maybe try stretching them a little so they extend outside the rubber bushing until EO gets back to you?

There are several things that could be wrong... Will L3 repair it for free? I was just reading some info from Steve Fisher (Magpul) that had all three Eotechs in one class go down. I'm glad I no longer run one. Have you thought about getting it repaired and going with something else?

heres the thing the seller must have rubbered off the serial number or something so the guys at the company said that they can't fix it because it could be counterfiet or stolen when i known it isn't counterfiet or not stolen because the  buyer sent me a reciept from a gun shop

.. makes me glad Energizer is fixing/replacing mine instead of L3.



... if they send me a check I may be looking for am Aimpoint to replace it...

hey everyone that was reading this thread i fixed to Eotech for a low cost of 50 bucks the hood needed to be replaced and it was shipped in like two days yeah!!!!!!!!
