i was looking at either an EOtech 552 A65 or a Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN 4x32 for my RRA entry tact, but i wasnt sure if the ACOG was worth it, and which would be a better choice to go with?

A better choice would probably be the ACOG.  I have both an Eotech and ACOG, but have not even mounted the thing to test it, owing to the mouint being on BO, since Christmas.

Truly, I like the Eotech better than the AIMPOINT for red dot.  My eye just pics it up easier.

This all depends on what you are planning on using the rifle for.  Both optics are suitable for CQB and medium range shots, although the Eotech would be better for CQB and the ACOG would be better for medium range.

If you don't have a preference on that front and are willing to shell out for it,  then I would suggest the ACOG, it's a fantastic piece of equipment.
