No worries. I haven't found a forum search function yet that didn't suck. The best way to find any subject on any forum is to enter that forum name in google followed by the subject you're looking for. Much better than using the ARFCOM search feature.

Those 8 pages were from the archives, which you have to search deliberately so they're easy to miss.

I mounted an ESS 14.5" this weekend, pinned and welded Dynacomp Extreme and ran 150 rounds through it. I like it more than the 16" DD barrel it had replaced, moved the balance back/centralized the mass which gave the AR a very good feel. I had the chamber verified as 5.56 NATO by a competent gunsmith who included the casting showing the proper freebore. Not bad for $100 on the barrelhead!
