Very nice setup!  I like Noveske also and have very accurate results with 5.56 similar to your .300 experience.

Thanks for sharing!

Knowing what I know now I would have all but one or two of my rifles in blackout if I had it to do over again

Very nice set-up and I must say that post is better than most articles we see in today's shooting rags.   Well done OP!

I rarely bother with any other than a 300blackout. It as as a total package just works great.

110Gr Barnes TTSX for medium game
147Gr FMJ for targets/plinking/hogs
220Gr Subsonics for quiet time.

It's my "if I could have only one" choice

I agree, noveske makes some great parts, and the older the better. (There was a time shortly after Johnny noveske's death the quality went slightly down) but seems to be that things are getting better over there. I have two noveske sbr's and my 10.5 inch 5.56 will out shoot my 16 inch rifles from brands like Daniel defense. I have their 8.2 inch 300blk also.

I was skeptical at first like yourself. Then I shot my brothers and quickly understood why the premium. Quality of parts, metals used, polygonal rifling, super tight tolerances, all leads to a very accurate rifle.

I'm a big Noveske fan too.  I have an 8.2" 300BLK upper that I took possession of a few weeks before John's death.  Suppressed SBR with subs = pure fun.  Flawless function and accurate.

Very good write up!   I'm a big fan of the 300BLK as well.  I have been looking for some lower cost IR laser and illuminator options. Will check out what you used.

Thanks!

I've hunted the last few seasons with an 8" suppressed .300, same Barnes 110gr.
It works well where I usually hunt.
I've got an Eotech XPS with the 2-dot reticle, it works out pretty close to this:
