OK, AR has been working great, then today I go out and shoot alittle. Well, sometimes it does not eject the spent round and will go ahead and try to feed a fresh one, causing a jam. I started shotting single rounds jus to watch the ejection of them and only about 25% of the time would it properly eject the spent round, the other 75% of the time it would not throw the spent round out. Any help would be great...thanks in advance.

Start with cleaning your chamber. What kind of ammo are you using??

Clean the boltface with a tooth brush to get rid of the carbon under the extractor.  Depress the ejector and let it snap back a few times to loosen and carbon build up in the chase for it.

Lube everything after cleaning.

Going to say take the cleaning and checking a little farther than stated above.

Chamber should be cleaned with a chamber brush by hand, and gleaming like a babies but when done correctly.

Extractor should be cleaned as stated (get the crap out of the hook relief area) and double check the extractor spring.  If a high round count, could be that the extractor hook is dulled, or even the extractor spring has went south/become weak. If the hook is still sharp and the edges of the relief channel have not edge burs that need to be removed/stoned, then add a #60 O ring around the spring to add some tension to it.  If the O-ring solves the problem, then the spring is worn out and needs to be replaced.
Note: Buy a Colt M-4 extractor spring (will have a Black insert as a spring marker, and be in a Colt package).  My reason for this is some of the spring out there are weak to begin with, and if you buy a Colt brand M-4 spring, you know it will be strong to begin with.

The ejector should be checked as well.  Could be that a flake of brass has made it's way into the channel, and now the ejector is binding in the channel.  To check for this, use a spent case off the extractor to work the ejector a few times.  If its binding, then you will need to pull for it and the channel to be cleaned.

To ask too; What ammo is being used, and which brand rig?   If wolf and Bushmaster, then you will have problems until the rifle has been broken in through live fire (about 1K of brass case rounds).
