[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ejection Cover Install

i have all of the parts to assemble an upper with the exception of an ejection cover assembly, which I'll have in a few days. Should I assemble the barrel and upper now and put on the ejection cover later, or will the C-clip be a pain to install in that order.

You can do it after, but it's a lot easier to do before you put the barrel on.

especially if your upper has a forward assist

do yourself a favor and install it before. I've taken the port door off after and it's WAY easier if you just take the barrel nut off.
