I just swapped out the barrel on my AR (again) and now notice that my brass is being ejected in the 2 o'clock direction rather than the 4 o'clock direction it had in the past. The only difference now (other than barrel brand) is that this barrel has a windage adjustable FSB. I noticed that a few empty cases dribbled out the ejection port, but have no other problems that I would associate with short stroking. Is there something other than a pressure change that could acccount for the change in ejection?

Weaker ejector or stronger extractor (can cause forward ejection).  Or slower cycling (ejects more forward) or faster cycling (ejects more rearward).

My guess is that you don't have the adjustable FSB indexed with the gas port (front to back, or even side to side if you didn't get the gas port TDC when you installed the barrel) and now you are getting a weak gas pulse.

It could be ammo choice is the barrel is reamed for 223 and your running 5.56 Nato ammo through the barrel.

It could be a tight chamber than may need to be broken in before the rifle is going to run correctly.

Bottom line is to list the barrel, the chamber, and the ammo and we should be able to narrow it down a bit on the possible problems.

Thanks for the replies. I bought the barrel from a guy on the EE. He listed it as a Wilson from Model1 sales with a fairly high round count. I only see ER Shaw barrels listed there. I never thought to inquire about chamber type, but I am assuming it is .223. The ammo I was using is some that I worked up with Winchester brass, 52gr SMK's and 22 grains of H335 (never used it before and wanted to try a light load to start). I also tried some AE .223 with 55gr FMJ's to see if I got a different result. No change, same 2 o'clock pattern, but more consistant in the distance it was ejecting.
There does seem to be some leakage from the FSB between the set screws, noticed when wiping the barrel off.
As far as the fore/aft position of the FSB goes, it is just pushed up tight against the handguard cap and shoulder on the barrel.
I haven't checked the gas port for TDC as I just assumed it would be indexed the same as the tab on the barrel extension. Guess I should pull the FSB off to make sure.
