Have had a problem recently with ejector on Sherlucks upper.  The ejector stops kicking the spent shells out of the gun causing a jam up.  Tried working CLP into into the recess but this doesn't seem to work.  Took out the ejector and the spring and cleaned out the recess and relubed with CLP. Noticed that there were several flakes of brass in the recess.  Reassembeld, worked OK for a while but the problem resurfaced.  Next step that I will try is to replace the ejector and the spring.  Any other suggestions that anyone can make?

Pull the ejector back off the bolt and feel channel/hole edge with your fingernail.  If the ridge has a sharp lip, you will need to remove it with a stone.  Also, pull the extractor off the bolt and check the claw lip and rim channel for burs.

As the rifle starts to unlock, the case is still pressure bound to the chamber walls.  This causes the bolt face, ejector, and extractor to rotate on the back of the rim.  If you have burs or sharp high spots, then the brass is going to be shaved and packed into the bolt face.  The fact that the ejector is getting pack, leads me to believe that the ejector hole has a high ridge and is causing the problem.
