Anybody else have an Elbit Falcon on their light barreled AR?
They were made for Israel and you will still see them at times on IDF M16s

The commercially packed units came in a plastic clam shell box with mounts to be used over the barrel or a weaver mount.

This one still has the original Israeli lithium battery.

Dang, I've had this thing for over 20 years.
I can tell you that for runnin' coyotes, it is the feline's rectum.
The unit has an adjustable photo cell to automatically adjust dot brightness according to ambient light.

The forward mount is designed for thumbscrew quick removal but still hold zero when reinstalled. This pic shows the left handguard removed so you can see how the mount attaches to the barrel.

I modified this particular Falcon to accept a pressure switch in place of the ON/OFF knob after leaving it on in the closet for a couple of weeks. Now I don't think I will ever drain the battery.

That looks pretty slick for an old design. I'll have to keep an eye out for one when I finally get around to doing an IDF bangstick. If it's good enough for coyotes and PLA goblins I'd say it will meet my needs.

This is waht the box and sleeve looked like. If the sleeve is missing, the OD green box should have a round, red slide catch on each end.
I buy them every time I see one in somebody's box under the table.

Good luck,
