I want to have my COLT lower reciever re-marked with the correct M16A2 markings. I found a picture I want to mimic, however, I don't know who can fill in existing markings, ground down and engrave proper markings. Tom Sawyer used to, but Orion Arms doesn't. Any recommendations? |

I started with a GTS reciever and filled in the stuff I didnt want with JB weld and then converted it to an A1 reciever. Then I sent it out to Rian at Orion Arms and had him do the engraving. US RIFLE PROPERTY OF US GOVT M16A1............As well as a fake auto select. Let me know if you want details on how I did it. Rian was able to engrave right through the JB weld and you cant see any seams or margins. Painted it over with moly coat. |
