Is the AR-10 Short buffer the correct one for the DPMS rifle since it uses a standard AR15 buffer tube?  Also, is there any Enidine buffer that would work in a rifle length tube on a DPMS?  Perhaps using the short buffer, the carbine 308 spring, and a spacer of some sort?

Any thoughts?

ETA:  Just how much difference will this make on a 308?  I've heard guys talk about it recuding recoil in an AR15 but I don't think it has much recoil to begin with.  It strikes me as very valuable for a 308.

These Guys offer the Enidine buffer for the AR-10.  No Kick

Unfortunately no specs or anything else technical.  They offer a Carbine AR-10 buffer and a Short Carbine AR-10 buffer.  They do say the short buffer is for DPMS and KAC type rifles with the shorter AR-15 buffer tubes.
