| I have an oppertunity to purchase an EoTech 552 Rev F for $285. It is advertised as having water damage to the box and manual, but since the sight is waterproof, should that really matter? I guess all I want is some opinions on if I should go ahead and risk it or save my pennies for one in a pristine package. Also, do you guys think EoTech would repair it if it showed up and didn't work? I'm not made of money, and I would love to jump on this deal, but the old adage about things being too good to be true is nagging at me. |

Is it from a dealer? Do you know the seller? The price sounds to good to be true for a new unit. If I had a box that got water damage on a new 552 I would not seal it for a loss.
