| Does anyone know if the new Eotech XPS series is just a battery holder redesign or are there internal improvements too? I like the new size but would opt for the ARMS mounted 553 if there are no QUALITY advantages inside the new XPS. I'm speculating...maybe the new battery angle takes care of past battery contact issues? What say you? Oh...and please no "get an aimpoint" replies unless you just can't help yourself...Thanks. |

I've been wondering/thinking the same way. Seems likethe battery being crossways instead of inline would take care of that one problem. Probably time will tell though. |

I've had one on order since april with opticsplanet for $469. hopefully it comes soon. I called a few weeks back and they said that eotech keeps pushing back the release date. I ordered the XPS 2.2 which has another moa dot lower for 500meters. we'll see. . They got the XPS 2-0 in stock but not the XPS 2-2 that both of us want

I ordered the XPS from them last week .... It arrived 4 days later. Very nice and much shorter than the AA ones. The buttons are on the back, not the side, so probably just different case. But I do like the sight. I've heard all the bad things about botactical but, having ordered from several several times. I must be the luckiest guy around. They've always shipped quickly and correctly. Go figure.... |

Got my Eotech XPS..nice..but a rear TROY BUIS I ordered is defective. My package arrived in 3 days...but a "return authorization" letter containing "whatever" they are sending me is still not here... 7days....add my name to those who will never use BOTACH again even if it gets here today.

It's just a dot. All that show and go for a 2MOA dot? |
