Does anyone know where you can get new battery cap for a FDE 553 model? I googled it and got lonestarpse.com and skd.com. Oh yea I also called Eotech and they referred me to lonestarpse. The two companies don't carry the piece for the 553 and I have called and given lonestarpse my contact twice and they haven't responded...not to mention two different CS clerks talked to me like I was wasting their time. Just wandering if anyone can help me out here.
ETA I said the two companies didnt carry it for the 553, I mean skd doesn't and lonestar has not touched base with me. |
| The battery compartments are not sold separately to individuals. They are available through dealers, usually just as a replacement piece. Also...keep in mind that the replacement battery compartments are specific to certain tolerances. This means when you look on the outside of your current battery compartment there will be a small metal strip with some numbers on it. Those numbers are the specific tolerances for your particular EOTech 553. The new replacement battery compartment must match those same tolerances or you will have fit issues.
