| I have a Eotech 552 sight. The sight is brand new without much use on the range. When the sight is turned on, and the center reticle is viewed, there is a bleed-over of light right next to the reticle. It looks like a half reticle next the the full reticle in the center. I have cleaned the lense to make sure there isn't any smudges. The only time the half reticle disappears is when you reduce the light intensity. Any ideas? |
| I've got the same kind of image with my 552. I called Eotech and that is the way all of the Rev. E's & F's are if they are too bright. I thought there was a problem because a Bushnell Holosight I had didn't have those dual images, but the rep. said that the upgraded electronics that allow for brighter images in the newer versions have the ghost images. I got used to turing it down to the correct brightness and it hasn't been a problem. |
