I went out hunting this afternoon and it was maybe around 40F. The humidity was high and it was a slight drizzle. Whenever the water or my hot breath came intact with the Eotech, or Eotech G23 Magnifier, I would have fog and could not see clear. Sometimes i would have visibility of 20 yards, other times 100.
It was very annoying and may have costed me a coyote because I was constantly trying to wipe away the fog/smudgy view with a paper towel in my pocket. Is this typical? Im pretty sure both my Eotech products are 100% Authentic. I just dont see a Military grade optic having such an issue with clarity with a slight drizzle. Do Anti-Fog spray's really work? |

It's just like a cold beer bottle on a warm day. Moisture travels to the cooler surface and condenses. You might want to call EOTech and see if there is any product they recommend, or any product to specifically stay away from. I missed the "sold in sporting goods and out door stores" part, and now my cat is looking at me funny... Mark H. |
