Can any Eotech Guru's positively ID this Eotech from the below pic?
 Suspect it's a 512 or 552....... But am unsure. Thanks!

Without seeing the back, ( night vision button marking ) there is no way to tell if it is a 512 or 552 but is one of the two. |

This is correct. I am holding my 512 and it has no NV button on the lower right.

There is no way to tell from that angle. Both the 512 and 552 have a 'button' on the back in the center. On the 552 its for NV on the 512 its blank. The thing on the bottom right is a molding around one of the bolts that holds the optic together.

It's a high res photo......zoom in.
The 512 has a boss. The 552 has a boss with a button in the middle that barely sticks out. You can see that little step in that boss that is the NV button. I have an old 552 and that's what it looks like on mine. |

It does appear to be a 552. Good point about the "boss". If it were a 512 that top button would appear more 1-piece than that 2-step deal. |

Turn it on, look thru it and push the middle button. If the circle-dot disapears it's a 552 if not it's a 512.
