| Anyone have any experience or opinions on the Eotech 517? I hear alot about the other models, especially the 512 but nothing about the 517. Also, I could not seem to find much information elsewhere either. The only place that I have seen them is Botach. And before anyone tells me, I know that Botach's customer service is spotty to say the least. Thanks! |
| I think most people who want the buttons on the side are getting the 516. I know the AA batteries are cheaper, but a lot of people like the fact that their scope would take the same batteries as their attached light. If you are insecure about ordering from Botach, go to a local dealer, and have them order it. |
I can't find the specs on the 517 on eotech's site. I believe the only difference is the batteries, since they have the same height base, and neither has NV. I have a 552, and love it, but I really like the fact the the 516 has buttons on the side. I don't have nv, or a magnifier, but I have it mounted fairly close to my buis. This makes it uncomfortable to turn on and off. JMO |
