So..
I think I want an Eotech EXPS 2-0. I really like the reticle and I really like CR123s as use them in a lot of my flashlights.

My only concern is how fast can you turn one on and get to the right brightness? I like the idea of Aimpoints where you just spin a dial.

Any input is appreciated. TIA.

I just bought an exps3-2. It turns on in middle of the brightness range. Inside the house i find i click the down button 4 times. Once to turn it on and 3 levels down. Outside seems 2 or 3 times up.esnt take long at all really. I like the side buttonsmore than i liked the rear buttons.

I would say it takes less than 5 seconds. Less if you know what settings you like for each situation you are in. Love my exps3.0.

I have the XPS2-0 and with some practice it can be done while picking the rifle up and pulling it to your shoulder.
