Hi Everyone,
I just got my new Eotech XPS3 and had a few questions, hoping someone could help me out. 1) What is the default Zero out of the box? 2) What does everyone use to protect the red-dot when not in use? Is there something else besides the supercoat and or GG&G? 3) I have astigmatism and noticed if I keep both eyes open it makes it almost normal. If I use one eye the flare effect starts happening.I have always been a one eye shooter but wondering if there is any tips with both eyes? 4) What battery does the Eotech come with? 5) In regards to mounting I notice some people have it all the way forward while others all the way back. Based on no magnifier is there difference in the position? 6) How accurate is the unit out of the box? 7) Anything else I should know? Thanks T |

I have the XPS2 so...
1. Don't know 2. I use a Supercoat 3. I use both eyes open with my glasses which are for distance although sometimes I find myself closing one eye without really noticing. 4. It is a CR123 5. I have mine mounted as far forward as possible while still staying on the upper receiver. With or without a magnifier you still want it forward. 6. You have to sight it in as with any other optic |
