Anybody have any experience with them?  They look pretty solid....

The EOTech XPS are very durable, small, and light weight. EOTech appears to be moving in this general direction with smaller and smaller optics. These have proven very solid. The newer version, the EXPS has a built in 7mm riser which will give you a lower 1/3 co-witness and QD lever.  They also offer a much more compact size if you plan on possibly adding a 3x magnifier down the road.

I have an XPS2-0 on on my Colt 6920 patrol rifle. The XPS is awesome - it uses the same battteries as my Surefire handheld and weapon lights (the CR123's), has a great battery life, is compact and the reticle  is fast and accurate.

I've shot mine from CQB out to 200 yds. - very easy to hit with. If you need magnification, you can get the 3X flip to side magnifier.

You will be well served with it.

I have been using my XPS2-0 for about 3 weeks, now. This little unit has performed above my expectations. It's quick and easy to acquire the target. At the moment, I have only used out to 100 yards.

I've been running one since last October and I've been very pleased with it. Battery life is better than expected, the unit is solid as a rock and I find it to be very easy to use.
I've run it out to 200 yards and I have no problems getting on the target. However, since I'm starting to shoot some 3-gun matches, I ordered a 3X magnifier which I hope to try out sometime this weekend.

Have it, love it.  The bolt mount I'm not crazy about, so I replaced it with the GG&G Accucam mount.  They're offering the XPS with mount and lense covers for about 485.  The covers are handy to keep crud off the glass, and to prevent any cleaning liquids or oils from working their way in during cleaning.
