Owners, any negative reports or regrets regarding the Eotech XPS series?
I am about to order an Eotech XPS 2-2 and would appreciate your input and experiences. Thanks

I have an EOtech 511 on 1 gun, and want another EOtech on my new MSAR.
In pics, it looks like the new, smaller Eotech sits a little lower. However, when I saw one at the local gun store this past weekend, it looked about the same height. Is the height of the glass the same on the new XPS? I was looking at the EOtech 512 this rime, but I like the size of this new XPS. |

Total noob to ARs and rifles. I just bought the Ruger SR-556 last week and put an XPS2-2 on it. I read the manual, went to the local range and sighted it at 25yds for now. (The range is very poorly lit and I can't really see the target at 50yds)
Anyway, I was shooting a 1" group from a bench rest at 25yds within the hour with a lot of holes stacked on each other. Just put the dot where you want the bullet to go and squeeze the trigger. It's that easy. Anybody that has a clue, should be able to do awesome with it at a much farther distance. I did not sight in my BUIS yet, But, looking through, it appears I'm just going to line them up with the XPS reticule and be in business. |
