I just went out and zeroed/qualified with my RRA and eotech mounted to the flat top reciever. I noticed that the mounting thumb screw had loosened slightly after firing. is this normal for it to creep or did I not tighten it enough?. Also if I remove the sight when cleaning will it screw my zero?

I also experienced a slight loosening of the thumbscrew after first mounting the EoTech.  I switched to the GG&G Accucam lever system which replaces the thumbscrew and the problem went away.  The Accucam is a little pricey at $85, but well worth it in my view, as it eliminates the problem you describe, AND it ensures that the EoTech will properly rezero, as the mount is tightened the same amount every time the sight is reinstalled.  The EoTEch should rezero provided the tightening system, whether it be the thumb screw or the Accucam, is tightened the same amount each time. If you've co-wittnessed the iron sights with the EoTEch its a simple matter to do a check on zero by ensuring that the co-wittnessing is still there after reinstalling the EoTEch.

Your EoTech should hold zero fine.  Like the prior poster said, a quick check will do.  My Eo's have held zero when removing.  If you don't want to buy a mount or replace the thumb screw, locktite will cure your problem as well.
