Im planning a range day to zero in my XPS2-0 on my carbine.

I do have a 3x magnifier but its currently not mounted. I was going to do it without.

What success have you guys had as far as type of targets to use and yardages/distances.

there is a propriety eotech target on their website.

you sight in @ 25 yards - your point of aim is dead center, your point of impact should be about 2 inches low = 100 yard sight in

Sighting in eotechs are notoriously easy

have fun!

I like to zero mine at 50 yards. With a 50 yard zero, the POI is +/- 2.5" out to 250 yards.

I don't know what caliber or bullet you're dealing with, but for my 180gr .308, if always been right on target with 25yrd and 300yrd. But at those distances, it depends on your mount height.

I use a 50 yd zero on my eotech and the hold is about 1 1/2" low at 100yds. I have read the best zero is about 33 1/2 yds and from what I've seen its the flatest shooting zero for 5.56 I just do not have somewhere to shoot 33 yds. Its 25 or 50 where I shoot.
